01
What KAIS controls
KAIS is designed to mediate action requests around models, agents, tools, data sources and workflows. It does not claim to make a model inherently safe or correct.
- Request classification
- Policy and authority checks
- Permit, deny or escalate outcomes
- Evidence object creation
02
The operating doctrine
No permit. No execution. A consequential action proceeds only when the applicable governance decision allows it; ambiguous or invalid states are designed to fail closed.
03
What KAIS is not
KAIS is not an AI assistant, a foundation model, a compliance certificate or a substitute for organisational accountability. It is governance infrastructure intended for controlled enterprise operating environments.
